Caleb, Dansol, Unique And Ronik Qualify For 2019 Proprietor’s Cup Finals



Caleb International College Magodo defeated Landmark College Ikorodu 2-0 in the semi final of the 6th edition of Proprietor’s cup organized by Atico Global Concepts.  It was a keenly contested match as both teams tried to cancel out each other early in the match.  Both schools showed grit, fighting spirit and wowed the spectators with impressive soccer skills.  The first half ended goalless, Caleb International College started the second half with intent to get a goal but Landmark College defenders were equal to the task they defended doggedly to deny Caleb International College. 


Caleb International College broke their resistance when Adeyeri  Femi pounced on a loose ball to give Caleb Intl college the lead few minutes later Obiora Charis put the icing on the cake with a glancing header to wrap up victory for Caleb International College.  Caleb International College coach, Adekanye Simeon expressed his excitement after guiding the school to the final on his birthday.  He said in a post-match interview with Aniks Média
” I feel so elated to be in the final of the competition, it was a tough game, the toughest test we have faced in the competition so far.  “My boys gave me a perfect birthday gift and I am so proud of them, we are focus on winning the trophy”  The Players celebrated with their coach after the final whistle and also wished him happy birthday.  Caleb International College won the 2nd and 3rd edition of the Proprietor’s Cup, they will be aiming to add the 6th edition to their trophy cabinet when they take on Dansol High School in the final slated for February  27th 2019.  Meanwhile, The second semi final between Dansol High School defeated Honeyland College of Alimosho 2-0 courtesy of a brace from Mitchell to set up a final place with Caleb International College of Magodo.  Dansol High School have won the competition back to back, they are aiming to win it for the third time  in a row.  In The Female Category, Unique High School From Isheri defeated Homat Pivotal College from Ikorodu 2-1  in a keenly contested match.  Ronik Comprehensive School of Ejigbo defeated Caleb International College 1-0 courtesy of a strike from Ogunkoya Titi to book a final place against Unique High School.  This is third edition of the female category of the Proprietor’s cup organized by Atico Global Concepts.  Shepherd High School won the first edition, while Homat Pivotal College won the second edition.  Ronik Comprehensive School and Unique high school will slug it out to determine the winner of the third edition.
